Presenting a barometer to Capt. Joe H. Engle, left, X-15 pilot and astronaut, during
the annual Snake River Area Council Boy Scout Leaders Recognition Banquet held at
Twin Falls High School is Robert Erkins, council president. Mr. Engle was featured
speaker during the ceremonies in which approximately fifty Magic Valley Scout leaders
were honored. Mr. Erkins is dressed in a suit and tie and Capt. Joe Engle wears a tuxedo. Mr. Erkins stands behind a podium, and a sign below it reads "Snake River Area Council Boy Scouts of America." A man and a boy are seated at the table.
