A large crane removes the cross from the top of St. Edward's Catholic Church after the church custodian, George Miller, discovered the base of the cross was coming apart and
the cross was loose. A man in a hard hat stands on top of the roof next to the cross, helping with the removal. The side of the crane reads "Northwest Crane & Rigging and Transport Austin Western." An arch on the building of St. Edward's Catholic Church reads "This is no other but the house of God and the gate of Heaven Genesis XXVIII 17." The two bell towers are visible to the sides of the roof with the cross.
