Checking over important papers in the governor's office are, from left to right, Jack M. Murphy, president pro tem of the Idaho senate, Lt. Gov. William E. Drevlow, and Mrs. Mary Brooks, Idaho senator. The men are dressed in suits and ties and Mrs. Brooks is wearing a jacket, blouse, and skirt. On the ornate desk are several stacks of books, a fancy pen holder, an ashtray, a telephone, and various office supplies. The reflection of the man seated behind the desk shows on the shiny surface of the desk. Behind them are some file cabinets and a mantle that has an elephant figurine, a trophy, and several small figurines of people. Marble columns are to the sides of the mantle, and a painting of some trees and mountains hangs on the wall.
