A group of original hat creations are modeled at the Welcome Wagon Newcomers Club April Fool's Day luncheon meeting held in the Depot Grill Caboose room. From left to right are Mrs. Wayne Robinson, Mrs. J. A. Milrany, Mrs. Phillip Whiting, and Mrs. Ed Goldade. Mrs. Robinson is wearing a black dress with a floral design on the top, and a hat with some bunny ears on it. Mrs. Milrany is wearing a plaid dress with a sailor style collar and a hat covered in balls of yarn and knitting needles. Mrs. Whiting is wearing a white dress and a hat with a clown resting under a paper umbrella on it. Mrs. Goldade is wearing a black shirt and plaid skirt and a hat of a crane figurine, holding a wrapped baby blanket in its mouth. The blanket reads "Destination Goldades." Several curled ribbons decorate the crane's head and tail. Some chairs and a grill with a counter top holding some salt shakers are in the background. A painting of a clown and a poster for smorgasbord hours hang on the wall behind them.
