A romantic moon watches over a capacity crowd at the BPOE Ladies of Elks annual Sweetheart Ball. This six-foot, man-in-the-moon creation was designed and made by Mr. and Mrs. Donald McKinster and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Makin. A battery motor placed at the back enables the moon to wink. The silhouettes of a man and a woman sitting on a bench looking at each other were designed by Joan Ainsworth. Streamers decorate the ceiling.
