A large group of people gathered at a construction site, most likely when the cornerstone for the new Presbyterian Church was laid in May 1917. The house in the background is the Babcock House, which was sold to the Presbyterians when they purchased the corner lot next it. The house was used as the Presbyterian Manse until; 1952, when it was moved to the corner lot at 204 Harrison St.
